There’s no question that I’m a fan of visual novels, and this game is no exception. It’s a modern play, the main character is a 22-year-old woman, and the game has some of the most beautiful anime-style illustrations I’ve ever seen.
The characters are fleshed out fairly well and they really hit it off with the fast-paced swordplay and fighting style of the game. The menu is a visual tour de force and it’s a joy to tap through the game.
The game world is extremely varied and the fighting system lets you switch in and out of the cutscenes at will so there’s no feeling of being forced into a situation. Once you’re in a cutscene, you really feel part of the story and it’s a great feeling.
I would rate the game a 10/10. If you’re not looking for a traditional visual novel, I would suggest looking at this game for its anime-style graphics, story, and gameplay.
