also comparing human and other monsters, the other monsters in the game have the same square box profile, meaning their health is as the height they are. However with humans, their health tends to have these boxes surrounding the human square, giving an idea of how much health they have. As we can see here, the different coloured boxes are what makes up the health bar, although we can’t see how much is inside of them. The easiest way of assigning a health bar would be to make them all the same size, but as it can be seen above, the form and the number within are what make them look different.
this is a great resource to see how much damage you did or will do to an enemy before you engage with it. this is especially true for boss fights where you may not have much time to gear up or heal up, which is commonly when people die. once again we can see how much health each monster has and that makes calculating damage easier.
the issue with this mod is that it doesn’t show how many life points an enemy or creature has, making it difficult to determine the health ratio. however with knowledge of the life points of different enemies (see wiki entry), the health of these creatures can be calculated.
for example, haden has 40, and schwammlgott has 3. we know schwammlgott has 3 life points (as can be seen in Game info # survival charts), we know that haden has 100 (at first glance), and we know that haden has 100% health (he isnt weak against anything) so in the full game, haden has +6 life points, (1 Life on each of his 3 life points) meaning that the lowest haden will have 66% health which we can see by looking at the tool tip at the bottom of the section, and the maximum haden will have 198% health. so summing the different percentages of the different creatures, we can find that schwammlgott has 72.5% health, and haden has 87.5% health.
