Hi. I’ve been using emailhacker pro for few weeks now and i am impressed. It works great for me and i recently restored my lost password thanks to it. Overall it is a very good tool. My only suggestion is that the instructions should be updated for people who are using the MAC version. I tried on both Mac and Windows and found them lacking in that they could not uninstall safely (delete) from the Mac. I believe it is possible because it works on Windows 8 and it is my opinion that the instructions should be updated to reflect this.
When I purchased EmailHacker PRO, I encountered difficulties to be able to uninstall it from my Macbook pro. I could not delete it. I contacted 2 year support. It was not possible. It took me 45 days to get a reply from a rep in India. They tried their best to help. Still, they were not able to help. They cannot delete it.
Might I suggest that if you want to keep emailing to multiple locations without worrying about spam filters getting in the way, you should consider using an open source email platform, such as Postbox or an alternate client, such as Thunderbird. This way, you can keep a copy of your messages online (part of our personal cloud), and even allow them to be forwarded to different locations. Open source software doesn’t require as many compromises in the nature of being maintained, and the folks who write it tend to be more passionate about security. Look into them before you give up privacy in the name of convenience. Theres an easy switch to boot – just install Thunderbird for example.
For a free alternative to gmail, try webmail.net. They use a policy of “anti-spam-by-default-but-users-can-openthemails”. This means they will filter out spam, but allow the user to control whether or not they open the email. Choose messages, indicate whether they should be automatically opened or not, and accept or reject from the remote webmail interface.
