IDeneb Mac OSX 10.5.8
i did not have this problem with 1.2.1 until i installed a second hard drive. now when i boot it to my drive with my os x and try to run the installer, it starts to install and then says ‘no bootable device’ and reboots. i have searched the net and have found only one very similar problem but the solution does not work for me.
here is what i did to get my 1.3 iso to boot again:
i used the disc utility to first format the drive as mac os extended and then restored it with the ideneb (1.3).iso.
only thing i can recall is that when i open the iso in the disc utility, only the image file comes up in the left pane no little apple logo as you describe. might there be something wrong with the iso itself it installs fine on the flash drive though i have the install mac os x app at its root.
and when using uinstaller should the install pc_efi v9 chameleon edition 1.0.12 checkbox be the only one checked this is what i tried.

tried ideneb 1.3 10.5.5 today cause i was tired of using kalyway 10.1 as my base install before installing 10.6 update. ideneb installed fine but would not boot. started in single user mode wiht -s flag and deleted all ati*, appleintelgma*, nvda* kexts. basically all video drivers. then it booted just fine into video {censored} mode. if u cant boot try deleting video kexts in -s mode and add your working video kexts after. i didnt get any kernel panics. it would just freeze in -v mode.
