v4 continues to be a solid, powerful, feature-rich, well-implemented tool. It certainly doesn’t have any big glaring compromises, and I really enjoy using it. I made various use of the built in beneviais tools, and I’d say they’re pretty useful, although they don’t really suit beginners very well. If you need to correct a white out, for example, they’re a bit awkward. However, if you already know what you need to do, they’ll be fine. I don’t have enough experience editing to really give a good overview of how well the beneware tools work, but they certainly seem useful. The Liquify tool is also very powerful, but it’s really only useful in more experienced users, or if you know what you want to do in advance, and don’t need to be flexible. I found it a bit fiddly to use.
