NHibernate equivalent of HttpUtility.HtmlDecode

I’ve used HttpUtility.HtmlDecode to add backslashes on the output html.
I’m using NHibernate to generate a class diagram from XML files.
I’m using nHibernate to do this and it’s working great, however one of the properties has an HTML symbol in the XML file, so when nHibernate is doing the XmlText.OuterXml method it removes the backslashes.
I’ve tried:
system.web.HttpUtility.HtmlDecode(output);
but this doesn’t work.
Any ideas?
The property is set to “property” not “blah”
UPDATE 1:
I ended up having to manually add the backslashes before I output the string.
UPDATE 2:
I went with this:
Works great, very simple.
Thanks,
Mike

A:

System.Web.HttpUtility.HtmlDecode is not meant for your use case.
Try to use NHibernateString instead:
Mapping(x => x.TheXml)
.CustomType(typeof(NHibernateString))
.LazyLoad()
.Column(“TheXml”, “TheXml”);

and use result HtmlDecoded string as nhibernate.ml string

A:

What about using the built-in HtmlEncode() functionality?
